The Los Alamos Babysitting Co-op, affiliated with Newcomers & Neighbors,
 functions on a point-based system. Earn points by sitting for fellow co-op
 members' children and spend points when you need your own children watched!
 Get to know co-op members at monthly playgroups, and also take advantage of
 the drop-off co-op which runs on Tuesdays and Fridays (or as often as
 interest permits).

 New members to the babysitting co-op receive 100 points to start with. If
 members choose to leave, the co-op requires that members leave with at least
 100 points in their "account". There are two ways to earn points: either by
 sitting for fellow co-op members' children at a time and place set between
 beggar (the person looking for a sitter) and sitter, or by sitting at the
 drop-off co-op. The drop-off co-op meets at a set location, and members sign
 up online to sit or to drop their kids off.
